Bio

Theodore S. Gonzalves is a scholar of comparative cultural studies and has taught in the United States, Spain, and the Philippines. Gonzalves’ research has received generous support as a Fulbright scholar, a Moeson Fellow at the Library of Congress, and a senior fellow at the Smithsonian Institution. Theo is Curator of Asian Pacific American History at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and is the current president of the Association for Asian American Studies.
